We’re Nand Haegeman and Dries De Meutter, both 20 years old, with a shared passion for art and entrepreneurship. Nand is studying painting at LUCA School of Arts in Ghent, while Dries is pursuing SME Management at HOGENT. We first met at Kunsthumaniora Sint-Lucas Ghent, where we both graduated in Visual Arts. Three years later, our paths crossed again, and we decided to launch a fresh and innovative concept: TO KEEP Gallery.

The idea came to us while searching for an exhibition space. We noticed that many properties for sale stood empty for long periods, and we thought—why not give them a temporary creative purpose? That’s how TO KEEP Gallery was born. The name plays on the Dutch phrase "TE KOOP" (for sale) but also hints at preserving and valuing art.

With TO KEEP Gallery, we want to make a real impact in two ways. First, by giving young artists a chance to showc their work in a unique and inspiring setting, without the barriers of traditional galleries. And second, by bringing empty properties back to life, turning them into vibrant, temporary art spaces that attract new visitors and potential buyers.
To make this happen, we’ve partnered with Waardevol Vastgoed, a real estate agency that provides us with available properties. These spaces become pop-up galleries where artists can exhibit their work while offering a fresh, engaging experience for visitors. It’s a win-win—the property gets extra exposure, and the artists get an exciting space to present their work.

TO KEEP Gallery is more than just a gallery—it’s a new way of connecting art and real estate. We make exhibitions more accessible, help young artists grow, and bring art into unexpected places.
